Research And Educational Grants

Investigator-Initiated Studies

Tokai is committed to the performance of clinical research related to our areas of interest, and we consider support for investigator-initiated studies (IISs) in these areas. An IIS is an independent research study; the sponsor of an IIS may be an investigator, institution or cooperative group. We may provide support for an IIS by providing a grant that may include study drug and/or financial support. The purpose of the IIS program is to support sponsor/investigators who have ideas that could advance the understanding of galeterone and the science of androgen receptor degradation, and contribute to patient care.

We will consider requests for research funding and/or the supply of galeterone based on the investigator’s request and the recommendation of our internal grant review committee. Proposals will be evaluated by the committee based on scientific rigor, innovation, feasibility, adherence to ethical principles, alignment with our overall research and development strategies and cost.

Educational Grants

Tokai’s mission is to develop and deliver innovative therapies that provide hope and healing for patients living with cancer. Consistent with this mission, we will consider funding educational grants in support of high quality, independent educational programs and materials which demonstrate the potential to increase disease awareness, expand professional education and improve patient care. At this time, we will only consider educational grants in the field of prostate cancer. To submit a request for an educational grant, please click here.
